Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking seasoned leaders for Senior Project Manager and Seller/Doer roles in the national Energy Practice. You will drive business development, manage complex permitting for gas-fired power plants, and lead cross-functional teams from concept through completion.

Candidates bring a strong technical background, established client relationships, and a proven ability to win new work in the conventional energy market. Hybrid/remote eligibility is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, chemical, mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in account management, business development, and permitting in the US.
• Existing client relationships in conventional energy generation and a track record of winning work.
• Experience leading planning, permitting, design, and construction for gas-fired power facilities.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Expand existing client accounts with energy sector clients and utilities.
• Develop and grow gas-fired power plant client base through strategic marketing and proposals.
• Lead teams across disciplines to deliver technically sound permitting projects.
• Collaborate on proposals, presentations, and marketing materials to win work.
• Oversee environmental permitting processes for complex gas-fired projects and ensure compliance.
