Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking a Gas Operations Manager to provide administrative and technical management for projects and to direct field operations through subordinate managers. You will oversee field teams, coordinate with customers and senior leaders, and ensure project profitability and compliance with safety programs.

The role involves close interaction with field managers, clients, and subcontractors, with duties including scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and invoicing.

Qualifications

• 10 years of gas utility industry experience.
• Previous gas industry supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction efforts to meet design, budget, and schedule.
• Interface with field managers, clients, subcontractors, and owners to ensure satisfaction.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise activities of operations personnel on projects.
• Update project schedules with project personnel on a weekly basis.
• Prepare weekly revenue and cost reports and manage invoicing process.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety programs, and liaise with estimating for cost control.
