Job summary

MasTec Utility Services seeks a Gas General Foreman to lead the crew in installing and repairing natural gas pipelines and related utilities, ensuring safety and compliance. The role oversees the Line team, coordinates field operations, and interfaces with customers and management.

Responsibilities include coordinating open-cut or directional drill work, obtaining licenses, tracking hours, conducting toolbox talks, and ensuring quality and timely completion of projects while maintaining safe

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of gas pipeline construction or maintenance experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Class A CDL.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee crew safety and productivity while installing and repairing gas pipelines.
• Coordinate open-cut or directional drilling work and ensure quality.
• Obtain licenses, permits, and materials for each job.
• Train and supervise new hires; track hours for payroll.
• Communicate with customers and inspectors; complete paperwork timely.
