Aquent Talent is partnering with a leading energy distribution organization to recruit an engineer in New Braunfels, TX. The role focuses on designing, installing, and managing distribution systems to ensure safe, efficient energy delivery and project leadership from conception through field installation.

B.S. in engineering and at least five years of utility design experience are required, along with strong communication, teamwork, and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil or other approved engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Requires a minimum of five years experience in utility design or related project construction design.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to interact with all management levels and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering design, calculations, estimates and coordination of gas distribution facilities installations.
• Analyzes load and pressure requirements and future growth during design.
• Oversees layout, sizing and specification of pipeline equipment and field communications with contractors.
