Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Industrial/Civil or approved engineering discipline.
• Minimum of five years of experience in utility design or related project construction design.
• Proficiency with PC software including word processing, presentation, and spreadsheets.
• Ability to learn and effectively use mainframe software incl. SAP EDS & FIN modules.
• Extensive knowledge of company policies and DOT CFR 192 regulations.
• Valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle per laws and policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design, calculations, estimates, studies, and coordination for distribution facilities installations.
• Analyze load, pressure requirements, future growth and other variables for optimal system performance.
• Oversee layout, sizing, and specification of pipeline equipment with economic justifications.
• Create precise engineering drawings and communicate details to field personnel and contractors.
• Conduct distribution system pressure and cathodic protection studies.
• Maintain external contacts for materials, supplies, and information; coordinate with agencies and utilities.
• Prepare economic justifications to assist management in investments and budgets.
• Review work orders and cost data for conformance to plans and construction charges.
• Assist in evaluating system operations and troubleshoot to maintain efficiency.
