Job summary

TC Energy is seeking aCompression Engineer to support our compressor stations across North America, including reciprocating and turbine/centrifugal units, plus balance of plant equipment. The role emphasizes reliability, problem solving, data analysis, and field collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS degree in an accredited engineering discipline.
• 6+ years of industry experience with natural gas compression facilities or similar equipment.
• Demonstrated safety focus and ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with field teams and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to compressor stations and facility equipment.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement cost-effective fixes.
• Scope, estimate, and engineer break-fix and capital/maintenance projects.
• Support PHMSA audits and facility compliance, provide design standard input.
• Mentor field teams and support training and qualification programs.
