Job summary

Certarus is the North American leader in low carbon energy solutions and is expanding its Equipment Engineering team in Houston. You will lead the development and production of compression and decompression equipment for the fleet, collaborating with design, fabrication, and operations to ensure performance and safety standards are met.

This role requires a Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering background with 3–5 years in oil and gas or fabrication, and a willingness to travel to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of oil and gas or fabrication experience.
• Willingness to travel to shop and field locations in Canada and the USA.
• Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and time management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Equipment design and project execution.
• Support operations and identify critical spares and maintenance intervals.
• Visit facilities and customer sites as required; work with fabrication partners.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure build quality.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage schedules for production and testing.
