Job summary

You will shape technical foundations and workflows to support long-term game development. The role requires deep C++ expertise, a track record shipping AAA titles, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in game development engineering.
• Highly proficient in C++.
• Shipped at least one AAA title with complex gameplay systems.
• Expert debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with design on combat, traversal, and RPG systems; drive in-engine experimentation to rapidly prototype ideas.
• Collaborate with animators, designers and engineers on best practices for content creation.
• Help set up foundational project infrastructure and core systems for scalable growth.
• Contribute to sustainable engineering workflows and team best practices.
• Evaluate technical, performance and memory implications of gameplay features and communicate tradeoffs.
