Job summary

KRAFTON Americas is seeking a Senior Game Security Software Engineer to develop KSS Anti-Cheat and client security features, focusing on detecting cheats, tampering, and automation in game runtimes. You will work on Windows user-mode and kernel-mode security, analyzing threats between game clients and the OS.

This role requires deep knowledge of Windows internals, memory management, and x64 assembly, with hands-on development in C++ and experience with security tooling such as IDA and WinDbg.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of C++ software development skills.
• 5+ years of experience with low-level Windows development focused on security / anti-cheat.
• Understanding of Windows internals: processes, threads, memory, DLLs, PE structures.
• Ability to understand x64 assembly and analyze disassembled code.
• Understanding of kernels, drivers, system calls, interrupts, and memory management.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, CPU operation, memory, and executable loading.
• Ability to analyze security problems and design bypass-resistant solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop C++-based game security / Anti-Cheat client modules.
• Detect and respond to cheat behaviors like client tampering and memory manipulation.
• Design user-mode and kernel-mode security features.
• Analyze Windows internals and OS behavior; review security detection logic.
• Research new cheats and defensive technologies; reduce false positives.
• Provide technical support to apply KSS security across game environments.
