Job summary

KRAFTON Americas is seeking a seasoned mobile security engineer to develop KSS Anti-Cheat and Anti-Tamper features for Android and iOS. You will analyze client-side threats and implement protections across multiple mobile game environments.

You will work with security research on tampering, bypasses, automation, and tool detection, contributing to a trusted gameplay experience for Krafton titles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of C++ software development experience.
• Experience with mobile Anti-Cheat, Anti-Tamper, DRM, or client protection technologies.
• Understanding of memory management and multithreading concepts.
• Experience developing native Android/iOS clients or equivalent.
• Knowledge of mobile OS internals, runtimes, and executable formats.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop mobile Anti-Cheat and Anti-Tamper features for Android and iOS.
• Detect and respond to mobile game client security threats such as tampering, repackaging, hooking, debugging, rooting/jailbreaking, and automation tools.
• Analyze Android/iOS internals, runtimes, system calls, and security mechanisms.
• Design and implement features for memory protection, runtime verification, and unauthorized tool detection.
• Analyze new mobile cheat techniques and research defensive technologies.
• Provide technical support to ensure KSS security features are reliably applied across environments.
