Job summary

CoolGames is seeking a Senior Game Designer to shape core progression and monetization for free-to-play titles, owning events and content roadmaps to boost retention and revenue. You will blend creative design with data-driven decision-making within an agile, international team.

Work with live ops, cross-functional partners, and platforms across desktop, tablet and mobile, while mentoring peers to raise the team's craft and impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Senior Game Designer in mobile or web F2P.
• Experience with systems/economy design and LiveOps.
• Ability to translate data and KPIs into actionable design and roadmaps.
• Strong written and verbal English communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Bonus: HTML5/web distribution experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain systems design for core loops, progression, rewards and economy.
• Build and evolve LiveOps strategy and content roadmap to boost engagement and revenue.
• Design in-game experiments (A/B tests) and use results to improve retention and monetization.
• Create developer-ready design documents and balancing sheets.
• Monitor casual F2P market trends and pitch new content to fit audience.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, art, QA, marketing in agile rituals.
• Present product vision and post-event analyses with data to secure stakeholder buy-in.
• Mentor other designers to raise team craft.
