Job summary

Mohegan Sun is seeking a skilled accountant to support the Financial Accounting Manager by preparing and distributing daily and monthly financial reports, recording journal entries, and assisting with month-end close.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting, has at least three years of accounting experience, and is proficient in GAAP, Excel, Word, and Outlook; HIPAA compliance awareness is also valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience including journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance.
• HIPAA certification required.
