Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in Boston seeks a Senior Systems Business Analyst for the Foreign Exchange team.

You will lead analysis and definition of solutions for FX applications used by traders, partnering with senior stakeholders to shape scope and drive outcomes across the project lifecycle. The role requires ownership, translating complex business needs into actionable requirements, and collaboration with architecture, engineering, QA, and operations.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Accounting, Banking, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or MIS).
• At least 5 years of experience in systems or business analysis across the SDLC.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and MS Visio or equivalent tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to structure ambiguous problems and deliver clear recommendations.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery practices.
• Technical fluency with SQL, databases, APIs or system integrations.
• Knowledge of FX, capital markets, trading workflows, or financial services technology.

• Build deep knowledge of FX processes, architecture, data flows, integrations, and applications to assess needs and feasibility.
• Lead requirements discovery, define scope, identify risks, and propose practical options.
• Facilitate workshops with traders, operations, product owners, architects, developers, and QA.
• Produce high-quality analysis artifacts: requirements, use cases, data-flow models, screen designs, acceptance criteria, traces.
• Act as liaison between business and technology, ensuring value delivery.
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering on non-functional and integration requirements.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to delivery teams and support impact assessments and root-cause analysis.
• Define and support testing, coordinate user acceptance testing, ensure quality.
• Lead readiness and release activities including planning, communications, training, and documentation.
• Manage changes, decisions, assumptions, and risks with stakeholders.
