Job summary

Neuberger Berman seeks a Senior Manager to lead Funds Client Services & Support, heading the Retail and Intermediary desks and governing the Transfer Agent and NSCC processing for 40 Act funds. You will drive a white-glove client experience with major broker-dealers and retirement platforms and shape fund lifecycle decisions.

You will work cross-functionally with Product, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing, using data insights and AI-enabled automation to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

10+ years in mutual fund operations or client servicing, including leading teams and supporting 40 Act funds.
Hands-on transfer agency experience, daily servicing, shareholder processing, and investor record integrity.
Knowledge of NSCC Fund/Serv platform and networked fund accounts.
Familiarity with fund prospectuses and SAIs; retirement account servicing such as RMDs and transfers.
Vendor oversight experience; risk assessments and escalation protocols.

Responsibilities

Lead the Retail and Intermediary desks, including call center and investor inquiries.
Oversee daily trading across omnibus and direct accounts; manage share class exchanges and intermediation clearing.
Deliver white-glove service to large broker-dealer and retirement platform relationships.
Oversee Transfer Agent and NSCC activity; monitor KPIs and service levels; address issues.
Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Operations, Reporting, Marketing, RFP, and PM to ensure timely, consistent client experiences.
Lead, coach, and develop client service professionals; leverage data insights and automation to improve processes.
