Job summary

Lord Abbett, a leading global asset manager, seeks a Senior Fund Administrator to join Global Fund Finance in Jersey City. You will contribute to a risk‑based fund oversight model spanning financial and regulatory reporting, NAV oversight, and strategic fund initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in asset management, mutual fund administration, fund accounting, financial reporting or related fund oversight.
• Working knowledge of registered investment companies and U.S. GAAP for investment companies and a desire to deepen technical expertise.
• Experience supporting or reviewing fund financial statements, tailored shareholder reports, SEC filings and related disclosures.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to assess risk and propose practical solutions.
• Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication, with cross‑functional collaboration.
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with Power BI, dashboards and data automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide fund treasury oversight and governance across U.S. mutual funds, interval funds and other structures.
• Oversee NAV calculations and key reconciliations, liaise with accounting agents.
• Lead or support regulatory filings and disclosures (SEC filings, N‑PORT, N‑CSR, etc.).
• Develop dashboards and reporting routines to improve transparency and accountability.
• Support product launches, reorganizations and other strategic fund initiatives.
