Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of registered investment company, accounting or reporting experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, providing assistance and answering questions from other team members.
• A top performer with a proactive approach, and a “doer” and problem solver mentality.

Responsibilities

• As needed, serve as the Treasurer and Principal Financial Officer for one or more Registered Investment Companies.
• Certify financial reports and SEC filings.
• Ensure accounting for Registered Investment Companies complies with relevant standards.
• Prepare and review annual, semi-annual, and quarterly schedules of investments.
• Prepare and review SEC filings and related documentation (e.g., N-CEN, N-CSR, N-PORT, 24F-2, N-1A, N-2).
• Coordinate audits of registered investment companies and address auditor questions.
• Prepare board reports and attend board meetings as a Fund officer.
• Prepare and review annual operating expense budgets and monitor expenses.
• Prepare and review fund expense ratios.
• Instruct and train the fund administration team on financial reporting and SEC filing processes.
• Work with clients and internal teams to research issues and provide accounting/compliance guidance.
