Job summary

6 Degrees Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior Associate, Fund Finance & Operations to own the accounting, reporting, and day-to-day operations for a set of investment funds and related entities.

You will serve as the main point of contact for third-party fund administrators, ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely, and investor-ready, with visibility across the organization in an in-office role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of fund accounting experience covering partnership accounting, investor reporting, and fund operations.
• Strong understanding of capital transactions, waterfalls, and investor allocations.
• Experience working with fund administrators and auditors, with Dynamics 365 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with third-party fund administrators and coordinate recurring accounting and investor deliverables.
• Review capital call and distribution notices, investor allocations, and administrator-prepared financial statements.
• Validate capital activity, management fees, partnership allocations, and waterfall calculations.
• Support quarter-end, year-end, audit, and tax reporting, working through discrepancies with auditors and tax advisors.
