Job summary

Connect Search, LLC is seeking a Finance Associate or Senior Finance Associate to join its fund finance team in Chicago. You will support quarterly close and fund financial reporting, prepare waterfall, allocation, capital call and distribution calculations, and maintain journal entries and ledgers for fund and GP entities.

You will coordinate tax allocations, K-1 review, and tax return processes, liaise with external auditors during the annual audit, and respond to investor requests.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of public/private accounting experience.
• Private equity or alternative investment fund experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of partnership accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Support quarterly close and fund reporting.
• Prepare waterfall, allocation and capital call calculations.
• Maintain journal entries and ledgers for fund and GP entities.
• Coordinate tax allocations and K-1 reviews.
• Assist with audits and investor reporting.
