Golub Capital in Chicago seeks a Senior Financial Accountant to drive accounting and reporting for one or more private funds. You will maintain ledgers, coordinate with operations, and ensure compliance with GAAP and partnership agreements.

The role supports investor reporting, capital calls, distributions, and audits, requiring 3+ years in a similar field and a CPA preferred. A strong Excel and AI-capable mindset is essential, with a hybrid office model in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (required or preferred).
• CPA strongly preferred for this role.
• 3+ years of relevant private equity/financial services experience.
• Strong technical accounting skills and GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced Excel proficiency required.
• Experience with Workday, Access, Wall Street Office or similar packages a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools in day-to-day work.

Responsabilités

• Assist in accounting and reporting for Golub Capital’s investment funds and vehicles, ensuring US GAAP compliance.
• Maintain general ledger and optimize automated entries; minimize manual entries.
• Prepare schedules for partners’ capital allocations and complex incentive fee calculations.
• Support investor reporting and respond to investor requests with quarterly statements.
• Coordinate capital calls and distributions with Treasury and senior leadership.
• Assist in financial statement preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Support ad-hoc projects as needed.
