Job summary

Connect Search, LLC is seeking a Finance Associate or Senior Finance Associate to join its fund finance team in Chicago. You will support quarterly close and fund financial reporting, prepare waterfall, allocation, capital call and distribution calculations, and maintain journal entries and ledgers for fund and GP entities.

You will coordinate tax allocations, K-1 review, and tax return processes, liaise with external auditors during the annual audit, and respond to investor requests.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of public/private accounting experience.
• Private equity or alternative investment fund experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of partnership accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

What You'll Do

• Support quarterly close and fund financial reporting

• Support subscription line and credit facility administration
• Coordinate tax allocations, K-1 review and tax return processes
• Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit
• Respond to investor requests and support regulatory reporting
• Assist with special projects across the finance function

What We're Looking For

• 3-6 years of public and/or private accounting experience
• Private equity or alternative investment fund experience preferred
• Strong understanding of partnership accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Proactive, self-directed working style with strong communication skills
