Job summary

Apollo Global Management is seeking a Principal to lead accounting, operations and financial reporting for the S3 strategy. You will oversee scalable infrastructure, data governance and automation initiatives across vendors and funds, while partnering with senior leaders to solve complex business challenges.

CPA preferred with extensive experience in secondaries or fund of funds. You will manage cross-functional collaboration with Deal, Client, Corporate, Operations, Tax, Legal and Technology

Qualifications

• CPA preferred; 13 to 15+ years of public and/or private accounting experience preferred.
• Significant prior experience in the secondaries or fund of funds industry with understanding of fund structures, operations and reporting.
• Strong U.S. GAAP technical accounting expertise.
• Experience improving operating models and building scalable processes and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in data governance, automation, and AI adoption in governance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Alteryx, Anaplan is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting, operations and financial reporting of S3 products.
• Advance the target operating model and scalable infrastructure for growth.
• Oversee data governance across vendors and portfolio monitoring systems.
• Analyze budgets across Fund entities and improve liquidity projections.
• Plan infrastructure for new products and support fundraising campaigns.
• Provide oversight and coaching to junior team members; lead strategic projects.
