Job summary

Partners Group’s Evergreen Fund Control team is looking for a motivated IFRS accounting professional to join our growing team in Zug. This role offers broad exposure to audit coordination, NAV oversight, and financial reporting across a diverse portfolio of entities, including regulated and complex fund structures.

You will support the delivery of annual audits, and periodic NAV processes, working closely with senior team members, external fund administrators, auditors, and other stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and detail-oriented professional to deepen their experience in IFRS reporting and fund control within a dynamic global environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Support the coordination of annual audits across a portfolio of entities, helping to ensure timely delivery of high-quality financial statements and annual reports
  • Act as a day-to-day contact for external fund administrators, auditors, and internal stakeholders for assigned deliverables and reporting matters
  • Review periodic NAV packages, financial statements, and annual reports prepared by external fund administrators, identifying issues, inconsistencies, and areas requiring follow-up
  • Support technical accounting assessments escalating key accounting matters where appropriate
  • Contribute to the enhancement of reporting, control, and audit coordination processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support timely resolution of issues
What we expect
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is preferred or in progress
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS; exposure to Lux GAAP, UK GAAP, or US GAAP is an advantage
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting, fund accounting, controlling, or audit, ideally within private markets, asset management, fund administration, or Big4
  • Solid technical accounting foundation with the ability to analyze reporting issues and apply accounting principles in practice
  • Good Excel and systems skills; experience with eFront, SQL, Python, or VBA is a plus
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and a strong commitment to high-quality, timely delivery
