Connect Search, LLC seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage accounting and reporting across private funds, ensuring US GAAP compliance and partnership agreements. You’ll oversee fund-level expenses, reviews, and annual audit support, collaborating with Investor Communications, Treasury, and senior leadership.

The role requires a BA in Accounting and substantial financial services accounting experience; CPA is strongly encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Substantial accounting experience in financial services — private equity, leveraged finance, or hedge fund.
• CPA strongly encouraged.
• Mix of public accounting and industry experience a plus.
• Proficiency in Workday, Wall Street Office, Geneva, or similar packages a strong plus.
• Prior people leadership experience preferred.
• Exceptional team orientation and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Accounting and reporting across multiple investment funds and vehicles, ensuring consistency with US GAAP and specific partnership agreements.
• New fund launches, including review of legal documents, implementation of month-end close processes, and collaboration with Technology to build systems supporting fund mechanics.
• Operationalizing complex partnership agreements and accounting for investments, incentive fee arrangements, and partner allocations.
• Calculation and booking of fund-level expenses including management fees, incentive fees, and accruals.
• Review of balance sheet, income statement, and monthly reporting packages across multiple private funds.
• Support to Investor Communications on quarterly statements and investor reporting requirements.
• Oversight of third-party administrators on NAV production, with accountability for quality and timeliness.
• Analysis and support for capital calls and distributions, coordinating planning and execution with Investor Communications, Treasury, and senior leadership.
• Reporting and analysis for firm leadership, plus support to independent auditors during the annual audit cycle.
• Identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities.

Compensation

Competitive base salary plus performance bonus.
