Job summary

CIM Group is seeking a Manager of Accounting in Phoenix to oversee monthly and quarterly fund accounting for a publicly traded real estate fund. You will ensure accurate consolidations, reconciliations, and cash management, while supporting GAAP reporting and external reporting requirements.

Collaboration with portfolio management, tax, treasury, and external auditors is essential for timely close and reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
5+ years of fund accounting with Yardi Investment Accounting and Financial Reporting experience preferred.
Experience with full-cycle accounting, ledgers, reconciliations, and consolidated reporting in a fund environment.

Responsibilities

Monthly reporting and analysis including balance sheet reconciliations and fund-level debt accounting.
Prepare schedules for audits, tax, and valuations.
Review quarterly and annual GAAP financial reporting and variance analyses.
Assist in accounting research for investment or fund-level transactions.
Monitor cash balances and liquidity, approve invoices and capital movements.
Support lender reporting and loan covenants compliance.
