Providence Equity Partners L.L.C. seeks a Manager, Fund Accounting to lead core fund accounting, financial reporting, and control functions across multiple investment vehicles.

The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to navigate a complex PE environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, solutions‑oriented, and capable of supporting day‑to‑day responsibilities while adapting to evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA (or active candidate) strongly preferred.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in private equity fund accounting and/or Big 4 with significant private equity exposure.
• Experience managing and developing team members.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and private equity fund structures.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Investran and Workday preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership, auditors, administrators, and investors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and delivery of quarterly and annual financial reporting across multiple fund structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Manage third‑party administrators and oversee preparation and delivery of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Review and approve complex accounting matters, including carried interest and waterfall calculations.
• Lead the year‑end audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
• Oversee capital call and distribution processes, including investor allocations and notices.
• Manage credit facilities, including drawdowns, repayments, and covenant compliance.
• Review and approve management fee calculations and fund expenses.
• Oversee cash management, liquidity planning, and banking activity.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver investor reporting and respond to ad hoc inquiries.
• Identify and implement process improvements; lead special finance projects.
