Base pay range

$125,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr

Our client is a fast-growing alternative investment manager with over $60 billion in assets under management, focused on real assets and credit strategies. The firm has recently expanded its credit platform, offering capital solutions across direct lending, structured credit, and special situations. Known for its collaborative culture and sector expertise, the firm provides a dynamic environment with high visibility and impact.

Role Summary:

The Senior Fund Accountant will support the accounting, operations, and financial reporting for the firm’s private credit funds. This role offers hands-on exposure to a variety of credit strategies and structures, and the opportunity to work closely with internal teams and external partners across fund administration, audit, tax, and valuation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review fund financial statements, capital account reporting, and NAV packages
• Reconcile fund activity with third-party administrators and ensure timely and accurate recordkeeping
• Monitor investment transactions, income accruals, and fee/waterfall calculations
• Participate in the quarterly valuation process and support audit and tax deliverables
• Maintain strong internal controls and support the implementation of scalable processes
• Collaborate with operations, treasury, legal, and investor relations on cross-functional initiatives

Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of experience in fund accounting, private credit, or fund administration/audit
• Familiarity with credit product accounting (term loans, revolvers, asset-backed structures, etc.)
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage complex data and reporting
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
