This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-growth alternative asset manager that focuses on yield, hybrid, and equity strategies across public and private markets. The firm also operates a large retirement services platform and is known for providing innovative capital solutions and long-term financial security for clients.

The Associate will be part of the fund accounting team supporting structured credit strategies, including a $26B CLO platform and a closed-end fund investing in a Capitalized Manager Vehicle (CMV). The role involves daily and monthly accounting oversight, close interaction with the structuring and portfolio management teams, and ownership of quarterly and annual reporting deliverables. This is a high-impact role offering exposure to complex investment structures and opportunities to contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close for CLOs and CMV, including review of accounting records, valuations, and reconciliations.
• Prepare analytical reports covering NAV movements, P&L, and fund performance.
• Review CLO waterfalls, management/incentive fees, and related calculations.
• Partner closely with internal teams on structured transactions, securitizations, and cash flow modeling.
• Lead year-end audit coordination, including preparation of consolidated financials and support for tax filings.
• Support corporate reporting requirements for 10Q/10K filings.
• Prepare investor reporting, capital call/distribution notices, and respond to investor inquiries.

Qualifications:

• CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in public and/or private accounting.
• Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, including fund and investment accounting.
• Familiarity with credit instruments (e.g., bank loans, bonds, CLOs, CDOs).
