Job summary

The State of New Hampshire is seeking an Accountant III to supervise and coordinate the fiscal activities of the MtBE Program in Fund Accounting. This full-time role requires oversight of monthly expenditures, reconciliations, and inter-agency financial processes in NHFIRST and Oracle.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience; supervisory experience is required. A criminal background check is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of 5 years of education and experience after completion of high school, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
• Education and Experience must be in the accounting or business administration fields.
• Criminal background and driving record review required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees reconciling, analyzing and auditing monthly expenditures for the MtBE Program accounts in NHFIRST and Oracle; ensures accurate records and proper authorization of expenditures.
• Tracks and prepares documents to transfer expenditures and makes adjustments to ensure accurate fund balances.
• Prepares monthly reports to program managers.
