Job summary

GC Investment Management LLC in the U.S. Virgin Islands is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to lead accounting, analysis and reporting for consolidated structures and funds.

You will support new initiatives, ad-hoc requests, and work closely with the operations team to ensure accurate postings and robust financial controls. The ideal candidate has private equity/hedge fund experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Workday or similar accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Excel proficiency required; familiarity with financial services systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and accounting skills are essential.
• Comfortable with a steep learning curve and collaborating with peers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in accounting and reporting for GCIM’s investment funds and vehicles.
• Maintain the general ledger and coordinate with Operations for entries.
• Prepare schedules and streamline accounting processes.
• Provide timely fund and business reporting and analysis.
• Support financial statements preparation and auditor interactions.
• Help drive process improvements and automation within Fund Accounting.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects and requests.
