The role requires 4+ years in fund accounting or operations, solid GAAP knowledge, and strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, information systems, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or fund operations.
• Baseline knowledge of mutual funds, collective investment trusts, hedge funds, interval funds, and alternative investments.
• Understanding of GAAP and fund accounting principles.
• Baseline understanding of accounting for fixed income and common stock.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in a collaborative, team‑based, results‑oriented environment.
• Progress toward MBA, CFA, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fund accounting activities performed by third‑party administrators.
• Review valuations, pricing, and fund performance, identifying exceptions.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enhance transparency and monitoring.
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, and due diligence reviews.
• Manage relationships with fund administrators, custodians, and service providers.
• Design and implement automation to improve efficiency and control.
