Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $92,000.00/yr

A fund administrator is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Senior Fund Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the client engagement manager and client representatives to oversee daily fund operations, and serve as a key point of contact for client and third-party communications
• Lead the initial setup of fund deliverables, including capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, and IRR calculations; conduct detailed first-level reviews of all client deliverables
• Review and assess the general ledger and all accounting records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with fund governing documents and applicable reporting standards
• Gather transaction support and perform in-depth financial analysis
• Prepare or review capital call and distribution calculations and related notices
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, real estate, credit, infrastructure funds, or within fund administration or investment accounting
• Strong understanding of fund legal structures and experience interpreting fund governing documents
• Proficient in financial reporting for private equity, venture capital, real estate, credit, or infrastructure funds
• Solid working knowledge of realized and unrealized waterfall allocation methodologies
• Experience with Investran accounting software is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
