Senior Fund Accountant - CPA or CPA License Pursuit Required

Within this newly created position, you will be responsible for partnering with senior level management, within a very high visibility capacity.

• Liaison for financial reporting and capital account matters including investors and third-party consultants.
• Support accounting and finance with transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, financings, ad hoc.
• Cash projections/planning for the fund (including preparation of capital calls, distributions and general cash management).
• Calculation of performance reporting for fund, investors and investments.
• Research complex accounting issues and assist in formulating appropriate response.
• Prepare/review fund’s quarterly reporting package, which could include preparation of GAAP fair value financial statements, investor reports, questionnaires and loan compliance reporting.
• Coordinate the external audits.

Compensation: $110k-$125k salary, plus 10% discretionary bonus

Who You Are?

You should have approximately 2-4 years of increasing accounting and analysis experience directly from a public accounting audit and assurance practice, including the possession of highly motivated curiosity. You are required to be detail oriented, having strong organizational as well as communication skills, and you must be flexible with competing deadlines.

· You should possess at minimum a Bachelor's Degree and ideally a completed CPA license or working towards the completion of your CPA license.

· You should possess experience directly from public accounting, as well as the broader financial services or asset management clientele.
