Job description

Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for providing accounting services including preparation and processing of transactions and financial statements with supporting schedules and work papers.

Primary Responsibilities Will Include :

1. Examine and analyze accounting records to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting standards.
2. Review work papers, prepare call and distribution letters, calculate carried interest, and allocate profits and losses in accordance with Fund Governing Agreement, including special allocations for blocked or tax-exempt Partners.
3. Prepare Consolidated Financial Statements with footnotes.
4. Analyze investment documents and properly set up investment structures, including holding companies, AIVs, and blockers.
5. Calculate current and deferred tax expense/benefit and related deferred tax assets/liabilities.
6. Train new employees and assist with new fund transition and/or setup.

Job Requirements, Skills, Education, and Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Economics, and/or Finance.
• Working knowledge of consolidations with non-controlling interests.
• Working knowledge of realized and unrealized waterfall allocations.
• At least 2+ years of experience in a private equity fund accounting position.

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$115,000, plus discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits. The actual salary will depend on the candidate's experience.

Work Arrangement

All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. US employees are required to work a hybrid schedule: two days in-office and three days remote per week.
