Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Our client is a private equity firm. They seek a Senior Fund Accountant to join their Securities Partnerships group in their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the books and records of certain Securities Partnerships
• Prepare monthly NAV and reconcile with our brokers
• Consolidate the information to generate the Fund’s books and records
• Calculate the management fees, incentive fees, and net asset values
• Liaise with our auditors and regional offices, guiding on accounting
• Recommend improvements for the performance of our current procedures
• Handle the fund’s redemptions, distributions, and investor correspondence
• Maintain detailed records of Designated Investments and allocations

Requirements

• 3+ years of fund accounting experience
• Knowledge of designated investments
• Private equity industry background
• Combo accounting background preferred
• Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
• CPA is a plus
