Job summary

Geneva Search Partners LLC is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant in Chicago to run day-to-day accounting for its private equity funds. The role offers collaboration with investment teams and clients, plus a path into front and middle office roles in a fast-moving, hybrid work environment.

The candidate will manage NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and oversee outsourced accounting, with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting or finance; coursework or internship in investments or financial markets.
• 3 to 5 years at a financial services or top-tier accounting firm.
• Knowledge of partnership accounting; exposure to financial reporting, auditing and tax is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting for private equity funds.
• Quarterly and annual NAV and financial statement packages.
• Management fee and carried interest waterfall calculations.
