Qualifications

• 5+ years in safety-critical or embedded software.
• MSc in CS/EE or equivalent experience.
• Experience with certification bodies (Notified Body, TÜV, UL, exida).
• Safety-first architectural instinct with fail-safe design.
• Familiarity with IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 21448 (SOTIF).
• Strong C/C++ and Python; embedded/edge experience.
• Hands-on HW/SW interfacing via I/O/fieldbuses.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end safety certification process.
• Audit vendor hardware safety manuals.
• Architect safety envelope for people-sensing software.
• Build and maintain safety management system and software lifecycle.
• Produce quantitative safety case and docs.
• Define safety goals and collaborate with teams.
• Support integration and on-site travel.
