Job summary

This role reports to the Magna Electronics group and focuses on high-assurance design for automotive-grade SoCs, aligning hardware safety features with software safety objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Embedded SoC development.
• 3+ years as Software Architect.
• Expertise in ISO 26262 (Parts 4, 6, 9).
• Experience in ASIL C or D certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety architecture defining safety goals and interfaces.
• Own Software FMEA and Software FTA, with rigorous documentation.
• Define Software Safety Requirements traceable to architecture elements.
• Perform independent verification to ensure safety over performance/feature trade-offs.
• Drive Safety Audits and mentor engineers on MISRA C/C++ safety practices.
