Job summary
Stellantis NV in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead Functional Safety convergence within a centralized E/E architecture program. You will coordinate with Electrical, Electronic & Hardware teams and vehicle projects to ensure timely delivery and safety compliance in a rapidly evolving software-defined vehicle strategy.
Applicants should have a strong background in automotive EE architectures, ISO26262/ISO21448 knowledge, and 8+ years of experience, including 2+ years in
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science / Electrical) or related field.
- At least 8 years of overall experience.
- At least 2 years experience in project management for Functional Safety.
- Knowledge of Functional Safety standards: ISO26262, ISO21448.
- Understanding of vehicle EE architectures and automotive development processes.
Responsibilities
- Steer functional safety convergence across all platform products.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Electronic & Hardware Engineering teams.
- Coordinate with vehicle project teams.
- Collect feature requests, analyze feasibility.
- Support convergence and application of product policy per standards.
- Drive early life cycle delivery through an Agile approach.
- Establish collaboration opportunities with internal partners.
- Develop a culture of collaboration, diversity, and inclusion.
- Willing to act and drive results.
