Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in the United States is seeking an experienced safety software engineer to develop and manage ASIL-critical requirements for automotive systems.

You will implement the ISO 26262/DO-178 C compliant development process, develop MATLAB/Simulink FSM models, and perform FMEA/FTA safety analyses to support certification and robust design; collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure traceability, and deliver high-integrity software artifacts in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE or related field.
• 5+ years’ ISO26262/DO-178 C development experience.
• 3+ years’ MATLAB/Simulink/TargetLink development and code generation.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Safety Software Requirements.
• Review the Safety Software Requirements.
• Implement the functional safety software development process per ISO 26262 Chapter 6 / DO-178 C.
• Develop MATLAB/Simulink FSM models.
• Perform Safety Software Analysis - FMEA, FTA.
