Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst for a 100% remote role supporting VA projects. You will lead requirements capture with business users, IT, and leadership, and document them in ALM tools to drive Agile delivery.

Ideal candidates have SAFe experience, excellent communication, and a history mentoring junior analysts. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust are required for this federal opportunity.

Qualifications

Experience capturing software requirements for development teams.
Experience with SAFe or large-scale Agile practices.
Federal government project experience is highly desired.
Experience documenting requirements in an ALM tool.
Ability to mentor junior analysts.

Responsibilities

Lead the capture of business requirements for software development.
Document requirements in ALM tools and write user stories.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog and acceptance criteria.
Coordinate with Systems Engineers on technical impact.
Facilitate backlog refinement and ensure traceability across requirements.
Support change control and risk/issue management.
