Qualifications

• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for software teams.
• Proficient in Agile/SAFe methodologies and backlog management.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced MS Office and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with VA or federal health projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams.
• Collaborate with business users, IT, and leadership to document requirements in an ALM tool.
• Manage requirements in an ALM tool.
• Perform Agile requirement management activities for a product team.
• Analyze user needs to determine functional, cross-functional, and technical requirements.
• Conduct user interviews, lead sessions, and develop business process models.
• Gather and document requirements from customers, stakeholders, and contractors.
• Elaborate user stories and decompose into backlog items with acceptance criteria.
• Use an ALM tool (JIRA) for requirements, testing, and defect management.
• Track system and business requirements, validate and integrate them.
• Conduct backlog refinement sessions and coordinate with Systems Engineers.
• Manage requirements for various projects and deliver client documentation.
• Identify risks and issues affecting project progress and outcome.
• Develop and maintain project/product backlog(s) and change control.
