Job summary

Applied Intuition Defence in London seeks a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the UK team. You will own fullstack delivery, shape user-facing products, and collaborate with design and product managers to ship robust software that scales across programmes.

You will move between frontend and backend tasks, implementing features from UI through services and data layers, while aligning with security and deployment practices, including Kubernetes and containerised environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering field.
• 5+ years of hands-on fullstack experience shipping and supporting production web applications.
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, or another modern front-end framework.
• Adaptability across languages and comfort owning the whole stack (TypeScript, Go, Python).
• Experience working closely with designers and product managers to deliver usable products.
• Command of application security and Docker/containerised environments on Linux.

Responsibilities

• Take new products from concept through to production, owning technical and product decisions.
• Build features end to end, from the interface through the API to the data behind it.
• Set front-end foundations for UK products: shared components and design language.
• Decide when a new capability should stand alone or join the core product offering.
• Incorporate improvements from field learnings into products and roadmaps.
• Engineer security from the first commit and ensure resilience in target environments.
