Job summary

iO Associates is recruiting Senior & Principal Level Software Engineers for a hybrid role in Warminster. You will design, develop and enhance features across a training management platform used by international defence organisations.

The role covers Angular front ends, Java backend services, APIs and SQL databases, with integrations to ERP systems and data platforms. Applicants should have strong Java, Angular/TypeScript and SQL experience, REST API development, CI/CD knowledge, and be eligible

Location: Hybrid/Warminster | Security Clearance: Must be eligible for UK SC Clearance
Salary: £60,000-£100,000 (DOE) + Benefits

iO Associates is working with a leading technology company who help build a training management platform used by international defence organisations and allied forces in more than 70 countries.

They’re looking for a Full Stack Engineers to design, develop and enhance new features across their platform, working on everything from modern Angular front ends to Java backend services, APIs and SQL databases. You’ll also build integrations with customer ERP systems, data platforms and partner applications as part of a major UK defence transformation programme.

This is a hands‑on role with real technical ownership, giving you the opportunity to influence architecture, engineering standards and best practices while mentoring other developers.

What you’ll need:

• Strong experience with Java, Angular/TypeScript and SQL

• Knowledge of system integrations, CI/CD and automated testing
