In a remote, globally distributed setup, you’ll own backend‑heavy development with React components, SQL work, and robust APIs, collaborating across teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building backend and frontend features.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proficiency in OO languages (Java, Kotlin, Go, Scala, Python).
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.
• Experience with scalable REST microservices and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud architectures and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features daily in a scalable, distributed environment.
• Develop robust REST APIs and customer-facing React components.
• Review code for readability, tests, reliability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to solve user problems.
• Ensure observability and monitoring of backend services.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and team retrospectives.
• Write performant SQL for complex queries and data workflows.
• Own projects end-to-end: architecture, implementation, QA, rollout, iteration.
• Maintain high code quality and comprehensive tests.
