Job summary

Atlassian is seeking a Principal Front End Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Agility team and deliver scalable frontend solutions on Jira Align. This remote-first role requires alignment with US Pacific or Mountain time zones as you collaborate across distributed teams and drive architecture, quality, and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building large-scale frontend applications using React.
• Bachelor’s degree with a preference for Computer Science degree
• Understanding of modern frontend ecosystem, including bundling, linting, testing and releasing
• Success with mentoring more junior Engineers - Experience in Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with micro-service architectures and are comfortable with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Amazon Web Services (EC2, SQS, S3)
• You have experience building integrations and data synchronizations with event pub/sub models.
