Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong frontend and backend capabilities (React and Node.js/TypeScript).
• Shipping production-quality software in fast-moving, post-Series A environments.
• Strong product instincts: you think about users, not just systems.
• Comfort with ambiguity; you make decisive technical choices without a perfect spec.
• Excellent communication skills; you can articulate trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical teammates.
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own features from conception through deployment: frontend, backend, and everything in between
• Design and build scalable APIs, data models, and backend services
• Build polished, performant user interfaces that feel great to use
• Collaborate closely with product and design to shape what we build, not just how
• Set technical standards and contribute to architectural decisions
• Participate in code reviews, help grow the team, and raise the bar on quality
• Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and security issues proactively
