Job summary

Front is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to help lead the CPX initiatives, building inbox, messages, and composer surfaces and related backend services. You will drive end-to-end delivery, shape technical decisions, and work closely with Product and Design to deliver high-impact user experiences.

We value craft, collaboration, and a bias for action in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment. You will mentor teammates and help raise engineering standards across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong fullstack experience across systems, stacks, and distributed architectures.
• Proven track record leading projects and delivering complex work on time.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Design to define scope, risks, and open questions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of high-impact, complex initiatives across Front's client-side surfaces and backend services.
• Drive technical direction across the stack including architecture, state management, APIs, and performance.
• Champion UX craft and product thinking with a focus on accessibility and polish.
• Partner with Product and Design to shape requirements and tradeoffs, communicating clearly with stakeholders.
• Raise the bar for quality with improved testing, observability, and tooling.
• Grow others through mentorship and constructive code review to foster a collaborative culture.
