Job summary

Waymo is seeking a talented software engineer to join the Fleet Management team in a hybrid capacity in San Francisco. You’ll design, develop, test, and optimize Angular applications using Typescript and collaborate across product, UX, and engineering to ship internal tools that enable scaling to new markets.

You have 4+ years in full‑stack development, strong HTML/CSS/JS, and experience with Angular/React/Vue and public APIs.

Qualifications

• Ideal: Bachelor’s in CS or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Strong HTML/CSS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript understanding.
• Experience with frontend frameworks: Angular, React, Vue.
• Interest in backend development and APIs integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and optimize Angular applications using Typescript.
• Build and evolve tools to help Waymo scale and serve new markets.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and other engineers on internal user-facing products.
• Ship solutions to novel problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Take ownership and drive tasks to completion.
