Job summary

Nivoda is hiring a Senior Engineer for the Growth Pod to own both the backend systems and front‑end experiences that convert sign‑ups into paying customers. You’ll work on onboarding, activation, and the sign‑up to purchase funnel, building real‑time, event‑driven systems to track accounts through activation, churn, and winback.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years backend product engineering experience.
• Proven experience with event-driven architectures.
• Strong SQL and data warehouse skills.
• Experience with identity verification or fintech data is a plus.
• Ability to design experiments and analyze results.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding, verification, activation, and the sign-up funnel backend.
• Design and build event-driven, workflow‑orchestrated systems.
• Integrate with identity verification and risk providers.
• Handle credit and payment data responsibly as part of personalization.
• Run cohort/funnel analysis and use SQL to diagnose issues.
