Job summary

Swisslog Healthcare is seeking a Software Engineer - Full Stack - UI to design, implement, and deploy scalable web applications with a strong UI/UX focus. You will integrate frontend with backend services, APIs, and cloud-native deployment while mentoring teammates in an agile environment.

The role emphasizes modern UI frameworks, micro-frontend architecture, and secure, high-performance software across the stack. Strong collaboration with product, UX, and engineering teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5+ years relevant work experience and track record in Software Development.
• At least 2 years front-end/UI development.
• 3+ years experience in backend development.
• Proven experience delivering full-stack applications.
• Comfortable working on both Linux and Windows.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern web applications using component-based UI frameworks
• Build scalable backend services and APIs (REST/GraphQL)
• Lead UI architecture modernization (micro-frontends, design systems)
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams
• Contribute across the full SDLC (design, development, testing, deployment)
• Implement performance optimization, observability, and security best practices
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence
• Support CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Deliver standard, easy to deploy and configure Customer Software Solutions
• Proactively maintain good working relationships within the department, company and customers
